This 4th book in the DCeased story (including 2 tie -ins) was the best one for me。 I enjoyed all 4 of them, but this one with so many amazing moment, especially of Constantine, was a special read。 I am new to reading graphic novels, but I know I am in for a wonderful journey ahead :)

It's nice to see John Constantine shine and really become an integral part of the DC Universe。 DC does a better job than Marvel at integrating magic and the supernatural。 It's nice to see John Constantine shine and really become an integral part of the DC Universe。 DC does a better job than Marvel at integrating magic and the supernatural。 。。。more

4。5Why the 4。5?it's a crazy story to close out the blink and you'll miss structure of the first volume。 Dc manages to take a zombie style pandemic and turn it into a superhero GOT。 I enjoyed the story here and while the setup is more to have everybody return, it still manages to maintain a heartfelt conclusion。 I was skeptical that this could close out the series and anything more in the DCeased lineup would feel too much。 They could offer an epilogue but honestly this feels like a conclusion an 4。5Why the 4。5?it's a crazy story to close out the blink and you'll miss structure of the first volume。 Dc manages to take a zombie style pandemic and turn it into a superhero GOT。 I enjoyed the story here and while the setup is more to have everybody return, it still manages to maintain a heartfelt conclusion。 I was skeptical that this could close out the series and anything more in the DCeased lineup would feel too much。 They could offer an epilogue but honestly this feels like a conclusion and it doesn't need to go any further。 。。。more

。。。more

When Deceased hit the shelves about 3 years ago I can say quite honestly I had zero interest in the title。。。 A zombie style story just meant nothing to me。Fast forward a few years and DCeased has endured and made a huge name for itself and Tom Taylor has risen to the ultimate DC golden boy, everything he touches is beloved。So I decided I'd give his most recent DCeased book, Dead Planet a try。It's dense enough but yet reads fast and easy。 Literally as I'm reading I'm trying to decipher why this i When Deceased hit the shelves about 3 years ago I can say quite honestly I had zero interest in the title。。。 A zombie style story just meant nothing to me。Fast forward a few years and DCeased has endured and made a huge name for itself and Tom Taylor has risen to the ultimate DC golden boy, everything he touches is beloved。So I decided I'd give his most recent DCeased book, Dead Planet a try。It's dense enough but yet reads fast and easy。 Literally as I'm reading I'm trying to decipher why this is so compelling and palatable! He's just outstanding and very quickly after starting Dead Planet, I already knew I had to collect the other books in the series。 Another thing to note was I didn't feel lost reading this out of order。 The story is self contained enough that I could start on the 5th book in the series and feel like I new what was going on。Check this series! 。。。more

What a great ending to this series。 Always fun when the ending is the highlight as well。 Hope we get a full collected edition。

4 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: Not as good as the first one, but definitely worth it。 This comic continues the story of the DCeased universe very well, but suffers from a lack of memorable characters。 While in the first we had Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman and the rest of the Justice League, here we have Constantine, Mister Miracle, Swamp Thing and a very underdeveloped Jon Kent and Damian Wayne。 It touches on important topics like survival of the rich and producing a cure, but fails to reach its full poten 4 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: Not as good as the first one, but definitely worth it。 This comic continues the story of the DCeased universe very well, but suffers from a lack of memorable characters。 While in the first we had Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman and the rest of the Justice League, here we have Constantine, Mister Miracle, Swamp Thing and a very underdeveloped Jon Kent and Damian Wayne。 It touches on important topics like survival of the rich and producing a cure, but fails to reach its full potential。 。。。more

My only complaint is on the lack of an epilogue。 Taylor left a handful of plot points that needed more follow through。 For example, there's no mention of curing an important "undead" superhero who'd been draining the Earth's sun for the past 5 years, and essentially freezing the planet。 Or any mention of the aftermath of an “undead” villain coming back and supposedly wreaking havoc on the New Gods。 Still, I had fun reading this, and found it to be a solid series。 My only complaint is on the lack of an epilogue。 Taylor left a handful of plot points that needed more follow through。 For example, there's no mention of curing an important "undead" superhero who'd been draining the Earth's sun for the past 5 years, and essentially freezing the planet。 Or any mention of the aftermath of an “undead” villain coming back and supposedly wreaking havoc on the New Gods。 Still, I had fun reading this, and found it to be a solid series。 。。。more

4。5 rounded up for just one of the coolest Constantine saves in the history of DC。This volume is the last (?) of the DCeased universe for now as Jon, Damian, and the rest of the new JL return to their Earth in a race against time to create a cure。

Tom Taylor does such a nice job with these out of continuity stories。 He really draws out how characters we know would behave if the story is changed up。 I love his Damien…his Jon and really how everyone is slightly twisted。

Another spectacularly well written installment in the DCeased storyline, and this time it seems to be the end? I was enjoying this so much that it was a shock to realize the story appears to be wrapped up。 More please!

3。5 starsA decent conclusion to the DCeased series。 I just wish there was an epilogue or a bit more plot after the climax。 There was just a lot going on and I question the need for the forced urgency certain additions brought to the table。 (view spoiler)[ Are you telling me infected Darkseid jus stayed dormant for five whole years and then just decided to wreck havoc right when Jon and Mister Miracle were on New Genesis?! This was a fun Tom Taylor romp。 The DCeased universe is brought up against the biggest challenge it's yet to face - curing humanity。 A cure is discovered, but not before the surviving villains decide to wipe out all of the zombies。 Also, there's a incoming magical threat that must be addressed。 Everything comes to a head in the thrilling conclusion of this universe。 The best parts of this series are seeing characters like Damian / Jon grow in a universe that doesn't reset them every 5 years or s This was a fun Tom Taylor romp。 The DCeased universe is brought up against the biggest challenge it's yet to face - curing humanity。 A cure is discovered, but not before the surviving villains decide to wipe out all of the zombies。 Also, there's a incoming magical threat that must be addressed。 Everything comes to a head in the thrilling conclusion of this universe。 The best parts of this series are seeing characters like Damian / Jon grow in a universe that doesn't reset them every 5 years or so。 On top of that, Taylor's got a spot on representation of Constantine。 Constantine being a driving factor towards the epic climax as well as the ultimate sacrifice was the perfect representation of the character in this universe。 Cheers all around! 。。。more

I didn’t enjoy this one anywhere near as much as the first book。 I’m just not a Constantine fan and this was very John Constantine and magic heavy。 In addition, there were all the random couples that just confused and annoyed me。 Why was Damian paired with Cassie Sandsmark - she was a Teen Titan when he was like 8??? I’m still not used to Jason/Rose。 John/Lois was also strange。 It felt weird in that whole “I found a woman to fix me” thing that annoys the life out of me about m/f pairings。 The wr I didn’t enjoy this one anywhere near as much as the first book。 I’m just not a Constantine fan and this was very John Constantine and magic heavy。 In addition, there were all the random couples that just confused and annoyed me。 Why was Damian paired with Cassie Sandsmark - she was a Teen Titan when he was like 8??? Tom Taylor Owes Me MoneyIt was like that last day movie except filled with nonsense and blatant Bruce Wayne hate。 DC needs to get its act together and fire these sjw writers。

im going to be real this was the book that pissed me off the most like we have。 trigon coming to blow up paris that constantine takes down in like 20 seconds。 and then the amazos coming to kill all the zombies。 And also they found a cure。 There’s a refusal to be any kind of moral dilemma and i just want to shake tom taylor and ask him to pick a main fucking conflict bc the series as a whole suffers from him not doing that and not doing any fucking character moments。 i hate him
